Wah… it always seem like England is always have a lucky charm with them. Australian whom suppose to be the favourite to beat them since the recent games of England wasn’t up to mark, and they have just sort of scrape through to the quarter final, but now they are in the final four and France awaits them, whom have also sensationally beat the tournament favourite, All Blacks!!! Guess Chelsea will be a very sad gal liow, since no more Dan Carter. But looking on the bright side, at least there are chances for early zzz then:p
Another bz week in work, and tired week as well. At least a sense of accomplishment cos have managed to clear some of the paper works that was piled up over the past 2 weeks. Went back to office on Sat to clear the remainders of the lot and indeed working on Sat is great cos there would not be any other distraction. So can really focus on the work itself, and manage to get the stuffs done in 4 hours. Shiok Shiok!!! Since now have cleared the stuffs, maybe I can make time for some partying over the coming weekend:)
Went to read up some local website, http://www.stomp.com.sg/ & http://www.omy.sg/, these are the site where is reflected the daily life of the locals, or maybe some would put it, such site would offer an avenue to accommodate the nature of our locals, COMPLAIN!!! So in another words, you will sees a lot of people grunting and whining about almost everything and anything… Pretty interesting.
Came across particular 2 stories, one being some (I mean lots of it) red balloons which suppose to be some kind of publicity stunt of a bank, taken away by the passerby, though I have no idea was it suppose to be such or what are those passerby thinking? Do they need it? Or is it just another nature of us... Greed?
Then another one where a young couple who chose not to give up seats (whom sit right below that sticker label…”Give up the seat for someone who need it”) when there is a lady carrying a little gal standing beside them so I suppose the couple obviously deem the lady won’t needs it. While some of the comments in that article are criticizing those young couples, it is also “interesting” to see there are some who deem otherwise too. In a way reflects the mindset of our locals these days, which I personally think it scary. Self Center, Selfish are just some of the “attributes” that pops right into my head instantly. Most of their argument states that they too, paid for the fare hence deem to be the rightful “owner” of that seat at that point of time as well. Right or wrong… u decide:)
