Today, for the first time since I started working here. I went meet up a frnd of mine for dinner. Just a ex-colleague of mine from Navy, whom happen to be in this part of the world, for the coming 2 months. He is stationed over in RAK but since together with his colleague, they came down to Dubai, just taking a day break from work. So take this opportunity to meet up with him for dinner.
It always a great feeling to meet up some familiar face from Singapore, be it my colleague from Sg or frnds. Never fail to lift my spirit, especially after going through a hectic day, though it suppose to be Friday, a weekend where NOTHING moves. So basically, my hectic equate to minimum result since nothing moves, and I am the only one stupid enough to drive around to vessel and back to office. Role for the day.... Driver, delivery, Collect Spares, technician and surveyor:p
Back to my first relax weekend, just meet up at MOE, slightly after 6pm, hang around, jalan jalan a bit, tcss and then dinner at food court. The session was pretty short, just after 8pm, they need to go back to RAK, another 120km northward since they still have to work for tomorrow, so no chance to go for drink. Hopefully, there are some opportunity in near future for makan & possibly drinks.
